RIM CEO: BlackBerry 10 Will Eliminate Laptops

RIM may not be the most highly regarded name in technology at the moment, but plucky new CEO Thorsten Heins wants to change that. In a recent interview with The New York Times, he claimed that the new BlackBerry 10 phone will eliminate the need for laptops.

He said that office workers won't be taking in their laptops, instead saying "you have your mobile computer
power exactly here," when pointing to a BlackBerry 10 device. Research In Motion are set to reveal the new mobile OS on January 30th.
