Acer Preparing $99 Android/Windows 8 Tablets

Acer are reportedly set to be manufacturing two low-cost tablets that run on Android and Windows 8 RT. The alleged tablet, nicknamed the 'Iconia B1' will be able to run one of the two operating systems.

Right now though, there's no set plan for the Iconia B1 to come to the US, nor the UK, or even Europe for that matter, as many are speculate that the low-cost tablet will only be released where budget tablets are more popular than high-end devices.

The method behind this is that Acer will revolutionize the really low-cost tablet market, like Google did with the Nexus 7 and the mid-range market, with a better build-quality than most other budget tablets, like ones that don't even have capacitive screens.
