Mobile World Congress has finally kicked off and all the technology giants are already showing off their latest products that will go on sale later in the year. Here's the four top stories that have come out today:
1. ASUS reveals tablet with phone calling capabilities
2. Samsung hands out invites to Galaxy S IV event
|Inside Samsung say "Ready 4 the show", hinting at the Galaxy S4|
3. ASUS reveal PadFone Infinity
As well as revealing a Fonepad, ASUS also revealed the PadFone, a tablet with a port for a phone. This is the newest iteration of the device, which now features a full 1080p screen on the phone and a slightly upgraded screen on the 10.1" tablet. The phone features a Snapdragon 600 quad-core 1.7GHz processor, one of the most sought after chips on the market right now, as well as a 13MP camera on the back, with a 2MP front-facing camera.
4. Sony calls new Xperia Tablet Z thinnest and lightest tablet yet
Sony have shown off their new Xperia Tablet Z, a ultra-thin tablet which they claim is the thinnest and lightest on the market. Early reviews back this up, too. The tablet takes its style from the new Xperia Z smartphone, which got lots of good press because of its excellent build quality and it being waterproof.
The tablet runs a skinned version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, under which is a quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB RAM. There's also a 1920 x 1200 resolution which promises great viewing.
